Global online home non‑food growth by 2025



We estimate that $650 billion of non-food spending will permantently shift to online by 2025. This is already supported by 20% of consumers who say they will continue shopping more online, long after the impact of the panedemic has subsided.

Four types of shoppers have emerged from the pandemic

In this year's Ecommerce Delivery Benchmark Report, we examine the new cohorts of shoppers born from the COVID-19 ecommerce boom, and how their shopping and delivery expectations have shifted during this unprecedented time.

Temporary shifters
From those making temporary behavioral changes due to COVID-19, nine in ten have made a temporary shift online, with a small minority exhibiting a temporary shift in-store.

These consumers have increased shopping online since COVID-19 across retail categories with permanent expectations.

These consumers have made no changes in their shopping behavior over the past two years and continue to follow long-terms behavioral trends.
